Got a text saying it was from O2 saying my service would be cut off if I didn’t update my info by clicking a link. Thing is, I’m not even with O2, so they were totally wasting their time. Classic scam attempt!

I got a message from this number on my mum’s phone, saying her 02 line would get cut off if she didn’t click a link. She sent me a screenshot and I checked it out by typing the URL into my browser without clicking it. Turns out it’s a total scam. Seriously, don’t tap that link. Just block the caller and delete the message pronto.

Got a dodgy text from 07765 017574 saying they couldn’t sort out my last bill. It warned my 02 stuff would be cut off unless I updated my info through some link: [#]o2help-myinfo[###]. Don’t bother clicking that, even if you’re with 02 - I’m not, and still got it. Just ignore it!
