Someone rang me claiming to be from Vodafone customer support. They told me that a new mobile number had been set up using my personal info and that it’s been involved in sending spam and scams, even caught the eye of Ofcom. It all sounded pretty legit at first, but I found it odd that when our call got connected, they spoke only in my own language rather than English. Kinda strange. Not sure if this was really Vodafone or some sort of scam. Just a heads up to be careful.
