I put my number into a dodgy trading website without realising and right away, at around 10:45 pm, my phone started ringing. I ignored it at first but they kept calling like 5 or 6 times. When I finally picked up, they asked for my card details saying my account wasn’t activated yet.

Got a call from some company about compensation for mis-sold shares, they claimed they pulled my details from the share register. They also said apparently my TPS wasn’t on their list. Number showed as local. Best steer clear of these lot.

So I got a missed call from this number but nothing showed on my caller ID, no name or anything. Anyone here got an idea who it might be? I’m not keen on ringing back as I haven’t got a clue who it is. Looks like others were curious about this number too - did anyone pick up when it called you? What’s the deal with this number?
