Got a call from some bloke about an accident claim. I told him I wasn’t giving out any info. He replies, “if you don’t give me info, I can’t remove you from our list”. I just stuck to not telling him. Then he said, “then just block the number, we have loads anyway”. Proper annoying! This number called me twice. I didn’t pick up the first time since I didn’t recognise the digits on my screen. When they called again, I decided to return the call because it seemed like a regular mobile and I figured it might be someone I know. But when I called back, it just went straight to voicemail, and I only tried calling twice. Later, I checked my phone statement and saw I’d been charged £1.50 for each call.
