I got a message from this number, and just by checking the link, it seems dodgy. It said something like "LLOYDS ALERT: you’ve added a new payee on 04/11 at 11:09 from your account. If this wasn’t you, go to: ..." but honestly, I think it’s some sort of scam.

Just got a message saying a new payee had been added and that it was from Lloyds bank. Thing is, I don’t even have an account with Lloyds, so I knew right away it was a scam.

I got a message supposedly from my bank saying I’d added a new payee and to check it by clicking a link if it wasn’t me. Thing is, I never set one up and it doesn’t look legit at all, so there’s no way I’m clicking on anything. Seriously, why do these scammers not just disappear?
