Someone from Efficient Homes called me about my loft insulation, saying it might have moisture issues. When I told them I didn’t think it was necessary to check, they quickly put me through to their manager, who, oddly enough, was right there. The manager claimed that glass fibre insulation can break down and even turn into a cancer risk. Both of them spoke really fast, so I had to ask them to slow down several times.
