From the outset, I had an inkling this could be a con. He claimed to be American but mentioned he grew up in South Africa, lost his wife who had passed away, had no children, and dropped the bomb about his parents dying in a car crash. To top it off, he was initially in Ukraine and then poof! overnight he was in Iraq. What’s more, it's apparent that multiple people are manning this phone, as the callers vary greatly in terms of their accents and word choice. I decided to call him out on it and have refrained from any further contact since then. Upon perusing various reviews from other Ourtime users, I discovered that the identity David presented has been thrown around multiple times, particularly involving themes like: military backgrounds, Miami, and being a widower, among others.
