I had a rather alarming call from a chap with an Indian accent, and he insisted I had some sort of unpaid debt. It was all so menacing! Honestly, I might have found it convincing if I actually owed anything. It’s clearly a dodgy scam.

Was out doing some shopping and got a ring on my phone. Picked up and this guy with an Asian accent asks for me by name. I kept asking who he was and he just said Tim over and over. Told him I wasn't interested in buying anything but he snapped back calling me an id##t, saying I owed a huge amount of money in UK pounds and he was sending someone round to haul off all my stuff. Blocked the number straight away, felt like some dodgy scam from a rubbish company that’s just got hold of a bunch of numbers.

Got a call and they kept asking for my boyfriend. They claimed he owed money but wouldn't say from where. Kept grilling me about who I was, sounded Indian. I just ended the call. Don't share anything with these people!

This line was terrible. I reckon the best thing to do is for a bunch of us to contact our MPs and push for laws to tackle these scams. They won't make any changes unless we keep bugging them about it - that's what they’re meant to do after all. :(

Got a call from someone claiming to be with the Credit Investigation Bureau, saying I owed them money. They even knew my full name which was a bit unsettling. Thing is, this is a brand new phone and I have no idea what they're on about. I told the bloke he must've dialled the wrong number or mixed me up with someone else.
