I’m just a regular person and this is my personal phone number. Lately, scammers have been faking my number and using it. Several folks have rung me up saying they got a missed call from me, which is quite frustrating for everyone involved, myself included!

Got a call around 10.15 today, I picked up and a robot voice said my credit card had been charged £700 and to press 1 to talk to someone. I just hung up, then dialled back the number but put 141 in front of it to block my caller ID. A bloke answered and said he hadn’t called me. So I flipped it on him, telling him I was from Amazon and there’d been a £70 charge on his card. He quickly ended the call after that.
