So I got in touch with EE, which involved navigating through a load of complicated menus and waiting on hold a fair bit. They ran some checks, including sending me a text with a code to verify that I was me. Turns out, they hadn’t made any calls to me at all. EE said the call was definitely a scam, and the number they used wasn’t one they recognised. I’m going to block that number on my phone now.
