Bought a supposedly brand new bed from Facebook, but it looked like they were running multiple profiles. We settled on a price, but then the “courier” got in touch trying to charge me more. Didn’t agree to any extra fees, so I stood my ground. Eventually, the bed turned up and my other half accepted it. Turns out the bed’s defective - the fabric is ripped and the drawers don’t sit right. Tried reaching out to them but they seem to have blocked me now. Total con artists. If I’d been at home, I wouldn’t have even accepted the delivery.

I've been having trouble with my Facebook Marketplace as well, suddenly I can't get into my messages anymore. Me and my partner both called this number and right after, all these problems started. Definitely a scam!

Beware of scammers on Facebook selling things like beds and dining sets that don't match the description - if they even bother to send anything at all. They never showed up for me, but they did deliver to a mate, and the bed she got was completely broken. After she complained, they blocked her straight away. Plus, after I rang the contact number, neither me nor my husband could get onto Facebook Marketplace anymore on our phones. These scammers are running over 15 fake profiles! They really ought to be shut down for good.

Bought a bed through Facebook and when it arrived, it was faulty. They wanted cash on delivery, which didn’t seem right. Tried to reach out to complain, but looks like they blocked me on Facebook. Also, calling their number gets me no reply at all. Very frustrating!

On Facebook, I came across someone trying to flog beds but they ended up sending a dodgy one. When I asked for a refund or the right mattress, they just wouldn’t budge. Proper scam, definitely steer clear!
