Got a text from 07760971182 saying it was my bank and wanted me to click a link. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it!

If the police have been flooded with complaints about this dodgy number from everyone here, why is nothing being done faster to find out who’s behind this UK phone line and shut it down right away? Surely whoever’s running it had to sign up for an account or something, especially with all those texts about failed payment attempts they kept sending out. It’s baffling how slow the response has been!

Just received a dodgy text asking for my bank info, definitely not clicking on any links! Could be a scam, so watch out.

just got a message saying ee was unable to take my payment. instantly knew it was dodgy, but i guess some folks might fall for it. never ever click on links from unfamiliar numbers. if you're unsure, call the company directly.

Got a message saying "can't process your recent bill," was obviously a scam. Best to just delete all messages from that number, thanks. Definitely dodgy!

Got a call from someone pretending to be EE. I don’t even have an EE account, but I stupidly clicked their link. It looked like the real EE sign-in page, but none of the buttons actually did anything. Definitely a phishing attempt trying to steal your EE details. Beware!

Got a message claiming EE can't handle my latest payment. Smells like a total scam. For starters, EE don’t handle bills, they handle payments. Also, if it were legit, the link would be something like ee(###) or a proper EE domain. But the URL I got was all dodgy, like ee[###-refll86[4##4#]?e0=2 - definitely not EE’s official site. Plus, if you use direct debit, it’s your bank that sorts it out, not EE. Always double-check the URL carefully to make sure it’s pointing to a genuine site.

Its just the same old story really. Some muppet’s managed to swipe £600 from your bank, could be from mars or wherever! But the idiots don’t stop trying, they keep at it.

Just saw a message saying they couldn't process my recent bill and to avoid any charges I need to update my info at (#lee{###]-refla6{###]2ee=2. Had a look at my bank account and the payment has already been taken out. Bit confusing!

got a text claiming it was from hsbc saying "unusual activity was spotted on ur account, pls follow this link [#]hsbcliH#]i###}-ref67 1i[###}2h=2" to sort it out. total scam, dont click on any links or reply. nothing legit about it at all.

Just got a message pretending to be from EE saying they couldn’t take my payment and telling me to log in to a site to "update your info". Sounds like they’re trying to nab my bank details, right?
