Received a message from this number claiming a Barclaycard credit card was opened under my name. Problem is, I don’t even have an account with Barclays. So, I looked up the fraud hotline on their official website (definitely not the one in the text) and gave them a ring. Now I’ve got to wait a couple days to see whether it’s just a spam scam or if there’s something dodgy going on.
