I got a text from someone acting like a mate of mine saying they’d been admitted to hospital. They asked if I could pop to any shop and grab a £20 EE voucher, then send them the code from the back. Definitely felt a bit dodgy to me.

Got a couple of text messages on the 11th of July, 2016: "Hey, it's Sarah here. I could really use a hand if you’re able. Had a little mishap and ended up with a fractured fibula and left elbow. Could you shoot me a quick reply when you see this? xx" Then another one came through: "Would you mind picking up a phone top-up for me by tomorrow? xx" And one more: "Is that doable for you? xx" Blimey, I went ahead and did it! Took me for a ride since I’ve got a mate by the same name. Guess I was a bit too trusting this time around!

Got a couple of texts on the 11th of July, 2016. One read, "Hey, it's Sarah. I’m hoping you can help me out. I had a little mishap and ended up breaking my fibula and my left elbow. Would you mind dropping me a message back when you see this? Cheers x." Then there was another one saying, "Could you grab a phone voucher for me by tomorrow? x." And yet another, "Are you able to sort this? x." Honestly, I really don't think that's going to happen...Epic fail!
