It was a dodgy scam pretending to be from a hospital. I honestly thought it was a workmate needing £20 top-up credit, but nah, I got conned and now I’m out of pocket and feeling quite upset about it.

Got the exact same scam call today. Someone pretending to be a mate in hospital asking for top-up vouchers. Ended up losing £20 to the tricksters. Reported it to the police already.

This sounded a lot like the scam mentioned earlier. They tried saying my sister was in hospital, but when I insisted on which hospital, I got the feeling they didn’t like my questions. I rang my sister and she was completely fine. Honestly, I hope they get what’s coming to them for pulling these dodgy scams.
