Scammer alert - got a call from 07562 237 837 where some bloke calling himself David Trueman said I owed HMRC money (which I don’t) and threatened to send bailiffs at 2pm the same day from Northampton county court. Proper nasty guy, definitely a total con!

This bloke called me saying I’m avoiding paying council tax and threatened to come to my shop and take my stuff if I didn’t pay by 1pm yesterday. I paid up, but then he rings my house today saying the same rubbish. Definitely just having me on.

Without a doubt, this was a total scam. Some bloke called himself David O’Neil from High Court Collection Ltd, claiming he was a bailiff and demanded money for a fine supposedly taken to court with a court order being enforced. He was clearly just copying the David O’Neil character from that TV show, "If You Can't Pay, We Take It Away." Don’t get caught out by it, mate, and make sure you report it to the police straight away.

Absolutely a total scam, no doubt about it. I got a call from a bloke who said he was David O’Neil with High Court Collection Ltd, a bailiff trying to collect a fine that supposedly went to court, claiming he was enforcing a court order. Turns out he’s pretending to be that David O’Neil from the TV show "If You Can’t Pay, We Take It Away." Don’t be fooled by this rubbish and make sure you report it to the police straight away.

I got a phone call from someone saying I hadn’t paid my council tax.

Totally a scam! Someone called saying they were David Sullivan, apparently a high court sheriff, about some unpaid self assessment tax. They threatened to come to my workplace and take stuff if I didn’t pay up by the 2nd. Glad I had a look at my bank first and then called up the official UK government line to double check - they told me it was all fake.
