There was a long pause before he said the name of the company, but I honestly couldn't hear it properly. When I asked him to say it again, he just kept going with his spiel, so I ended the call.

I got a call from some bloke who sounded like he wasn’t from here, said his name was ‘Mark?’ and knew my name right off the bat. He claimed to be doing some sort of survey for a company, but I couldn’t catch what it was exactly. I just told him I wasn’t interested and hung up.
