I just saw a missed video call from this number and had no idea who it could be. After a quick search here, I figured it out. Going to block it and not pick up next time. Be careful folks!

Totally obvious scam. Got a call from a woman with a Chinese accent saying there was trouble with my visa. I'm British, and my family’s been here for ages, so I just ended the call straight away and blocked the number.

I just got a call from this number, and they kept saying there’s some arrest warrant out for me because of tax fraud stuff. They were threatening me with legal trouble and it all sounded pretty dodgy!

Got a call from 07761 624434 earlier and it didn’t really feel like HMRC ringing. I looked the number up here just in case and reckon it’s a scam. Didn’t bother pressing any buttons or speaking to anyone, just ended the call straight away. Thought I’d warn others so they don’t get caught out by something dodgy like this.

I got a call on my mobile, which I hardly ever use for talking, and right away I thought it was dodgy because I’d heard about scams like this before. When I picked up, some automated voice started going on about being from HMRC and saying I was facing legal trouble if I didn’t act fast. I just ended the call straight away.

Got a voicemail today but only caught part of it. There was a robot voice telling me to press a key if I wanted to report a dodgy transaction and then it directed me to some kind of call centre. The number isn’t linked to any of my banks, so safe to say it’s a scam. The number was 07761624434.
