Got a call from some bloke claiming to be tech support from Virgin, saying he needed to check my computer ‘cause the internet kept cutting out. When I said we don’t even use Virgin anymore, he switched it up and said he worked for BT, O2, Vodafone, TalkTalk, and EE all at once! I told him he was talking rubbish since each provider has their own engineers, not some dodgy scammers phoning from random UK mobiles. He then lost it, swearing and hurling awful insults at me. So I told him to bugger off back to wherever he came from and get a proper job. Number got blocked straight away.

Some bloke rang claiming to be tech support from Virgin, trying to get remote access to my computer to 'fix' our dodgy internet. When I told him we don’t use Virgin anymore, he changed his tune, saying he worked for BT, O2, Vodafone, TalkTalk, and EE all at once. I told him he was nonsense - everyone knows each network has its own engineers, not some random scammer cold-calling from a UK mobile. He then lost it, swearing and throwing awful names at me. I told him to jog on back to wherever and mind his own business. Needless to say, I’ve blocked the number now.
