I got a call saying there was a £250 transaction about to go through and I had to press 1 to stop it. It was a recorded message, not a real person. I hung up straight away and rang my bank to check, thankfully nothing was taken or approved. I told them about the call and gave them the number. I’m pretty sure if I’d pressed 1, it would’ve connected me to the scammers. I’ve blocked the number now, but they still called me again today, though it just shows as blocked on my phone. Just a heads up, the call came from a UK mobile number: 07760771776. Be careful out there!
