Got a call today from a number similar to 07760 727466. The person said it was an urgent call from HMRC and asked for all my property details and my full name. When I tried ringing back, the number didn’t seem to be real or didn’t connect at all. Feels a bit dodgy to me.

On 20th August, someone called and used my first name. I replied yes and they just hung up straight away. I tried calling back but the number was blocked. Then today the same number called again, but when I picked up, there was nothing but silence.

A bloke with a Lancashire accent rang, asked for my name and then just dropped the line. Could be connected to those calls we got the night before from 01948 838654. At first we thought it was a mate messing about, cos they rang three times back to back. Proper persistent and pretty rude too, kept accusing us of stuff and said the call was being recorded.

Some bloke rang asking if I’d had any damp or condensation issues at my place, saying the government did some free insulation work about 8 years ago. He mentioned a guy called Peter from ECO Surveyors would get in touch to set up a time to inspect the property externally, and that it’d be passed to solicitors who might help me reclaim any money spent on damp problems. Got a call from a lady who knew my full name and the address I rented back in 2015. Just as I was telling her I don’t actually own the place, the call dropped. Tried calling her number back but it says it’s not in service now. Strange one!
