There was a pause for a couple of seconds, then a ‘#bleep# goodbye’ message before they just cut the call. Sounds like they’re just trying to find live numbers to add to their marketing databases. Also, if you get those sales calls, don’t just ask to be taken off the list. Tell them your number’s been taken off the register and it’s against the law to bother you. They usually hang up quick and rarely call again.
