Got a call from someone claiming £900 had been spent on my debit card, totally a scam.

I sent my mum a quick message, something like "Hey mum, hope your week’s been alright. I’m on my iPad right now, can you reply when you see this?" Glad she was sharp enough to ring me straight away. I’ve blocked the number from her phone now to be safe.

Got a text that said “Hi mum, just sending a quick note from my iPad - hope your week’s been nice. Drop me a message on my new number 07542819334, love x” Looks dodgy to me, definitely a scam!

Just got a dodgy text and binned it right away. Definitely a scam, so best to ignore and delete.

I got a text from this number on 22nd Jan 2023 saying, "Hey Mum and Dad, just a quick note from my iPad - hope you’ve had a nice week. Text me back on my new number 07542819334, cheers x" Absolutely certain it’s a scam.

Got a text just now that said, "Hi Dad, just dropping a quick line from my iPad - hope your week's been great." It also included a number to reply to.

Got a text saying "Hi mum, quick note from my iPad," then they said they had a new number. Problem is, I'm not a mum and have no kids. Sounds like some kinda scam to me. I definitely didn't ring the new number at all.
