Our landline got a call from this number. It was some sort of automated American voice that was quite hard to make out. It mentioned something about thanking me for renewing a policy for £79, then asked me to press 1 or 2. Just as quickly, the line went dead.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from Visa fraud dept, told me 900 quid was about to be taken from my account and I had to press 1 to confirm or 0 to speak with the bank. I just ended the call and rang my bank using a different phone. They said there was no transaction like that. Seriously, don’t press any buttons, just hang up straight away!
