Got a call the other day from someone claiming to be from my bank's fraud team, saying there were two dodgy charges on my account. They said one was £300 spent on Amazon and the other was a foreign payment of £1100. Then they went on with the usual spiel, asking me to press 1 if I didn’t recognise the transactions. Obviously, it was just another scam attempt trying to trick me out of my money. Stay alert, folks!
