Someone called me saying I’d paid £200 too much on my phone bill and wanted to send me the money back. She already had my address but then asked for my birthday. When I asked what it was for, she said it was to verify my identity. I said no way I’m giving that out and hung up. Plus, I’m certain I haven’t overpaid my bill by that much.
