Got a random call saying it was EE, offering me some "40% off" deal because apparently I’m a "valued customer". The number sounded dodgy, like a VOIP one - kept dropping out and took ages to ring through once I picked up. The caller had a thick accent, maybe Indian or something similar, and I struggled to catch what they were saying. I figured it wasn’t really EE and just ended the call. What’s weird is I hardly ever get calls that actually connect to a real person. Funny enough, I only phoned EE’s customer service last week, and it’s not like I ring them much at all.
