Someone named Mark rang a small shop over in Mansfield and started threatening them with a CCJ if they didn’t clear the debt pronto.

Got a call like this too, said they’d be here by 4.30pm to deliver a CCJ. I gave them a fake number and they promised to send the documents via email... of course, no email ever showed up. When I rang Derby County Court, they said loads of people are getting calls like this. These scammers are absolute pests. Honestly, if they ever showed up at my door, I wouldn’t be so friendly but I’d definitely give them a piece of my mind! The court advised me to report it to Action Fraud on 0300 123 2040, which I’m about to do now.

I got a call from this guy Mark saying my business has a CCJ, which is totally untrue. He sounded really pushy and quite threatening. I’m planning to report him to the police. If you get a call like this, please report it too so others don’t get caught out by this person!

Some bloke rang me up saying he was Mark Ryan from the High Court Enforcement, telling me I owed £3900 for some business adverts back in 2018. He threatened to turn up at my place in less than an hour to confiscate stuff. He even gave me a phone number he said was for Derby Combined Courts, but it sounded dodgy to me. I didn't ring that number, I just looked up the official Derby courts number on Google instead. He sounded quite believable, and I wasn’t sure at first, had me a bit worried for a minute!
