My husband got a call from someone claiming they were looking into his national insurance and tax stuff. Honestly, I'm so fed up with these calls now.

I got a call on my mobile from a number that seemed like another mobile, but it was some guy who sounded foreign. There was loads of background noise, super loud, and he kept asking me for my name. I kept asking him who he was, but he just kept insisting on my name. After I asked him again who it was, he suddenly just ended the call. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

So my wife picked up my phone and this bloke with an Indian accent was asking for me by my name. She asked who it was, then he flipped it and asked if she was Mrs #####, which was weird. She asked again who he was, and then the guy just told her to get lost and ended the call. Blocked straight away.

I keep gettin calls where they ring, say nothin, and then hang up after like 4 seconds. When I block one number, they just start usin a different mobile number and do the same thing again. Its pretty sketchy and feels like some kinda scam to me. Im worried about answerin them, dont wanna get charged or anything weird like that. This has been happenin loads all January. Does anyone know if these numbers can actually be tracked down?
