Someone called saying they were from Amazon, telling me I was being charged twice for my Prime subscription - once monthly and once yearly. They wanted to send me a code so I could cancel one of the payments and told me to go to [#]supremo[###] to get the code. It all sounded dodgy to me! I asked them for my account number to prove it was legit, and after some hesitation, they just hung up. I then got in touch with Amazon customer service, who confirmed they don’t call customers like that, so it was definitely a scam.
