Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent claiming there was an issue with my Amazon order, said I bought an iPhone from them. I played along and said yeah, I was waiting for it to arrive (which wasn’t true). That seemed to confuse him a bit, then he asked if I wanted a refund. I told him no, I’m keen to get the phone. Then he tried to check my info, but I refused to give any. Each time I didn’t follow his script, the call just dropped, like he was scrambling to come up with a new tactic to get my bank details. Definitely a scam attempt!
