Got a call from 07756937453 and the person already knew my name, asking if I’d tried claiming PPI tax back. Seemed really sketchy, so I said no and they just ended the call. Feels like they were trying to link my number with my details or something. Proper dodgy move. 🤬

This bloke said he was from Re-Claim Now, talking about tax on some PPI claim. When I asked him where he got my number from, he claimed HMRC gave it to him. Then I asked why he was ringing from a mobile, and he said it was his work phone. So, I tried calling it back and it went straight to a giffgaff voicemail... yeah, something doesn’t add up here, pretty sure it’s a scam ####.

I got a call asking about some PPI claim they said I did a couple of years back, even though I never made one. When I told them I hadn’t, they just cut me off. Weird thing is, they already had my name.

Got a call from someone in Manchester who said it was about a PPI claim I'd apparently put in a couple of years back. Thing is, I've never done anything like that. They did say my name too, which was odd. I didn’t say anything back and just ended the call straight away.

I saw this on Rip Off Britain, it was about getting PPI tax refunds but they never mentioned which company it was. Felt a bit dodgy, could be a scammer trying to catch people out.
