Someone called my elderly mum, who's in her 90s, saying they'd try to come visit her. It seemed dodgy right away because the person claimed to be a 12-year-old kid living like 60 miles away! Mum's got dementia and is quite vulnerable, so it was really worrying. The weird thing is, they called our landline, and I’m pretty sure they didn’t have that number. Definitely felt like a scam to me.
