I got a call about a problem with a payment to an overseas bank account. They said to press 1 for more info but then the call just got cut off. I ended up blocking the number straight away.

TOTAL SCAM! They called me claiming I'd been charged 600 quid on my card for some overseas transaction. Strange and definitely not true!

It's definitely a scam. They rang me up saying there was a card transaction and told me to press 1. After a short pause, the call just dropped on its own.
