Got a call from this number the other day and it was one of those automated voice things saying I'd got a warrant from HMRC about unpaid taxes. Thing is, I work for an employer and all my taxes come straight off my wages, so I knew right away it was dodgy. I've gone ahead and blocked the number now and definitely recommend you do the same if they ring you up.

So this number called me, right? At first they were super quiet, then just said "hello" all weird like, and after that, total silence. Bit strange if you ask me.

Not a clue who was ringing, but it felt just like those other calls about winning some contest I never signed up for, promising £484,000 and a Samsung. Mine came through ridiculously early, like 4 in the morning!

Just had a message from this number saying I won £489,500 in some Samsung UK/Malaysia promo or something. I never entered any contest, so it’s obviously a scam. The text asked me to email them with a unique ID at [email protected] to claim the prize. Total rubbish, don’t fall for it!
