09.12.19. Got a scam call saying I owed £4000 or was owed it, can't remember exactly. They wouldn’t say which company it was linked to and said I had to spend 20 minutes on the phone to go over my "account"!!! Totally dodgy.

Got a call from this number saying they were from Glastone Brookes and that every other PPI firm has been shut down, something they claimed was all over the newspapers. They said they had a cheque for me worth £5286 and a courier would bring it tomorrow. I told them I’d just got an email from my PPI company and hadn’t seen anything about it in the news, so I’m sticking with my current company. Then the person said, "so you don’t want your money then!" I said no and ended the call.

Got a call from an Asian guy claiming he’s from Citizen Advice and that he’d clear all my debts because the government authorised him. Said my name popped up due to loads of debts and he’d sort out a payment plan. When I questioned why he kept ringing me daily around the same time, he suddenly got aggressive and started yelling. I asked why he was so desperate about sorting my debts that he had to shout, and after a weird pause, he threatened to blacklist me permanently. Haven’t had a call in a couple of days since. No idea what’s going on.

Some bloke rang saying he was from UK Lifestyle and told me I'd won £500 in Barclays vouchers. Asked if he could send them to my old postcode. I told him to go ahead but said I have no ties to Barclays and thought it sounded dodgy. When I pressed him a bit more he went silent and then hung up - obviously realised I wasn't gonna give him any details! Total SCAM!

Oh, hello there! So, I answered the phone and to my surprise, someone addressed me by my first name in a thick accent, with a cacophony of voices in the background. Received a rather dubious call regarding some so-called debt relief, claiming to represent a government body offering to help people tackle their financial burdens. Got a call from someone claiming to be Citizens Advice, a woman with an Asian accent named Emma Jones. She said my credit score was terrible and that I’m not paying enough towards my credit cards. Thing is, I’ve never even owned a credit card before.

Had three calls from unknown numbers today, usually I don’t pick up for this exact reason. Blocked them and looked them up. Honestly, glad I didn’t pick up - being pregnant, my hormones would’ve probably made me lash out at whoever was shouting at me!

Got a call from this number, person said they were from citizens advice, claiming I owed money. I just ended the call straight away. They rang me again later but I ignored it.

No idea who was ringing. When my hubby picked up, they just wouldn’t say who they were. We kept asking them to tell us, but all they did was shout and swear at him. Proper rude and not helpful at all. Whoever this was, terrible customer service!

I keep gettin calls from this bloke every couple of days. Finally picked up today and he claimed he was from Citizens Advice or something. Told him he’s been ringin me way too often and out of nowhere, he just snapped with a rude "f### off you f#### woman" before hanging up on me. Proper cheeky, that one.

This number rang me thrice today about some debt issues. The first time I told them I’ve got no outstanding debts. When they called again, I explained I’m all paid up and don’t want any assistance. The third time, for some reason, I picked up and the bloke insulted me, calling me stupid and threatening that debt collectors would show up at my house because it’s supposedly gone to court. I told him not to worry, I’d be contacting my creditors and giving them his number to check for fraud. Then I ended the call. Haven’t heard from them since.

This number kept buzzing my phone all day, I lost count at 6 times! I finally picked up, just to hear a “hello” back when I said hello, then someone just went quiet. I hung up straight away and blocked them. After reading these other reviews, I’m proper relieved I didn’t waste any more time chatting with them.

Got a call from 07756527730, some rude bloke with an Asian accent claiming to be from a debt collection company. I told him I had no clue what he was on about, and he just went on to call me a stupid b******. I ended the call there. Proper unsettling experience!

This bloke on the phone kept insisting I verify my name, and when I asked how he had the right to ring me up (you know, GDPR and all that), he just told me to “f - k off, bitch.” Claimed he was from some debt management firm. Would love to file a proper complaint about him.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Citizens Advice, saying I had some debt I was supposedly paying off every month. I told them that was wrong and asked where they got that info from. They just hung up on me after that.

I got a call saying my credit score was checked and that I apparently owed money on unsecured loans. That’s not true at all, and I never chat with cold-callers. As soon as I said this, the bloke just ended the call.
