I got a call on my landline from a robot voice telling me there’d been two suspicious charges on my card earlier today - one with Amazon and the other with PayPal. Pretty dodgy if you ask me!

I got a call from someone with a funny accent saying they’d set up a block on my phone through the Telephone Preference Service. They asked me to confirm my address, but although the house number was right, the street name was all wrong. I ended the call straight away. Seemed really dodgy to me. I’ve blocked the number now.

Got a call claiming there were card withdrawals made in China. They didn’t say whose card it supposedly was, so I’m pretty sure if you call back, it’ll be a number from China. Best to just hang up and report it to stop anyone getting caught out.

Got a call from a number saying it was my bank warning about strange transactions. Then, not long after, the same kind of message came through again but from another number (01639 612797). Both times it was an automated voice and sounded exactly alike, so pretty sure it’s one of those scams.
