I got a missed call from them, so I tried calling back. Right at the start, there was a message saying "these calls will be charged to you" or something like that. But then, it just went on to say the calls couldn't connect right now. Bit strange!

So this guy keeps jabbering on about my gas and electric meter bills. Thing is, I live with my mum and she’s the one who sorts all the payments, not me. He just goes, ‘Alright, 7’s noted in my records’ or something like that. Weird conversation!

So, I just got a call from someone trying to get me to upgrade this pre-paid meter thing which I’ve never even had before. They somehow knew my full name and where I live - pretty creepy if you ask me.

Someone named Sam rang me claiming he was from British Gas and said they’re updating prepaid meters around here. He told me they’re doing it area by area and offered to send an engineer to upgrade my meter. I asked him a few times if British Gas would’ve sent me a letter first, but he just had my name and address, nothing more! Then the call cut off and I couldn’t get through to that number again. Honestly, if you get a call from this number, best not to pick up!

For weeks they kept ringing but never spoke when I finally picked up. It was just endless calls with no answer.

Got a call from this number, I tried calling back but it said I hadn’t got any credit and then the call just ended. I do have credit on my phone so it’s clearly a sketchy number.

I tried sending a text to this number but it kept saying it failed to send. It's not someone I know, like family or mates, so I didn't pick up. Definitely going to block it!
