9 yearsI got a call from some bloke with a thick Pakistani or Indian accent who kept stumbling over his own name, eventually saying it was David - but took a couple of tries. After some awkward “how are you today” nonsense, he blurted out he was ringing from BT about some internet error issues. When I asked for my name, he said he didn’t have it but did have my BT phone number. I lost my patience, told him off in no uncertain terms, then hung up and blocked the number.
