I received a message from this number, claiming to be my daughter. They insisted that her phone was broken and instructed me to save the number before reaching out to her. Since she's currently in Thailand, I thought perhaps something had happened. However, after checking with her, it turns out her phone is perfectly fine, and it was all just a ruse. Quite the dodgy trick, if you ask me!

I received a rather alarming text from this number claiming that my child's phone had been damaged and they were asking for a money transfer to some account. It struck me as suspicious, so I wisely chose to ignore their request and didn’t send a penny.
