Some guy with a weird accent rang up pretending to be from my internet company, said he was an engineer. Tried to get me to let him hack into my stuff but I didn’t fall for it! Watch out everyone.

I got a call from someone claiming to be a BT engineer saying there’s some dodgy stuff going on with my broadband router. They said it’s illegal activity and they need to come sort it out. Sounds like a classic scam to me.

I just got a recorded message saying it was from BT about my phone and internet. The automated voice claimed there’s some suspicious activity on my IP and that my service could be cut off. They told me to stay on the line to talk to someone to fix it. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it!
