It seems I received a rather suspicious call purportedly from Amazon regarding my Prime membership, claiming they would be automatically renewing my subscription. The number that rang me is not associated with any account, especially not Amazon’s, and I’ve stumbled upon several accounts online that echo my experience. It's glaringly obvious this is a scam without a doubt.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Amazon Prime, saying they'd automatically renew my subscription. Thing is, the number they used ain't even linked to me or Amazon in any way. Plus, I pay monthly through direct debit, not once a year like they said.
