Greetings, I received a rather dubious text message around 18:16 on Wednesday, the 3rd of December, 2014. It strikes me as a potential scam. The message stated, "Our records show that you were involved in a non-fault accident over the last three years and are eligible for compensation. Please reply YES for further details, or NO to decline." This is what was sent to me. Luckily, I didn't take it to heart and have since blocked and erased the number. Definitely a dodgy number! Received a message insisting that, as per their documentation, I’d been involved in a not-at-fault accident in the last three years (which is completely untrue). They’re claiming I’m eligible for some compensation and urged me to respond with a "yes" for further information or a "no" to unsubscribe - but I suspect that just means my number would be passed along to other con artists.

I've now blocked them.
