Hi, On Wednesday 3rd December 2014 at 18:16, I got a text that seemed really dodgy to me. The message said something like: ‘Our records show you've had a non-fault accident in the last three years and could be entitled to compensation. Text YES for details or NO to stop receiving messages.’ Luckily, I didn’t take it seriously and just blocked and deleted the sender. I’m worried some might fall for this though. Also, how did they even get my phone number in the first place? Cheers, Chloe.

Dodgy number, kept messaging me saying "based on our files", I'd been involved in a no-fault crash in the last three years (which is total rubbish) and that I was "eligible for compensation". They told me to reply "yes" to get details or "no" to stop messages (probably just to sell my contact on to more scammers).

Blocked straight away.
