Got a call from someone called "Georgia" representing The Tax Advisory Group. She kept going on about a tax refund I supposedly had related to interest from a PPI claim. She even wanted me to sign paperwork letting her handle things with HMRC for me. But when I checked my records, there’s definitely no refund coming my way. Turns out The Tax Advisory Group is just a trading name for Lage Solution Ltd, which was actually dissolved back in June 2022. From what I found online, this company’s business doesn’t look legit at all.
