Someone must have grabbed my phone number from a Gumtree ad. Got a call from what sounded like an Indian call centre - total scam, obviously.

About ten minutes back, I got a call about some loan thing. When I started to get suspicious and asked some questions, the call just dropped. Glad I didn’t end up sharing any personal info with them!

Got a ring from these guys claiming I’d tried to get a loan but got turned down, so apparently my info was sent over to them. Told them I never applied for anything and the bloke got a bit defensive, saying I was just saying that coz I keep getting loads of calls. Asked to speak to their fraud team and they just cut me off. Now I’m proper worried that someone might be using my details to apply for loans.
