I got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC, telling me my passport and National Insurance number would be blocked unless I gave them my details. I told them they must already have my info since they called me, and that I actually work at HMRC (which I don’t) but even if I did, we never phone people from a mobile. After that, they just hung up on me.
