I got a call but no one spoke before they just hung up. I was under the impression ghost calls weren’t meant to be a thing anymore.

Got an automated call warning me that my National Insurance number was at risk near the Wales border! They tried to scare me by saying I'd face legal trouble if I didn't press 1. There's no way HMRC would ring like that; they always send letters for such things. Definitely a scam, so I ignored the option and didn't press anything.
