Got a dodgy call from someone pretending to be bank security. They asked for my name, birthday, how near I live to a bank and my postcode. I gave them a fake name and even said my dog’s name instead, but amazingly they still claimed my account was used to buy a train ticket. I just laughed and told them they were total scammers and wished them bad luck before hanging up and blocking the number. These scammers are really nasty, taking advantage of people’s worries and fears. Never ever share anything with random callers - just end the call and block ’em right away.

This is definitely a scam, someone pretending to be from the bank. Banks never ring you out of the blue like that. Block the number straight away and make sure others know about it too so they don’t get caught out.
