I keep getting calls from this number and a few others I reckon are linked. They ring about once every month, and either there's this robotic voice that just says “bye” and then hangs up right away, or someone tries to push duty free cigarettes on me, claiming I've bought stuff from them before. I’m based in Norway, and honestly, it’s getting a bit annoying now.

I just had a rather unsettling encounter with a chap who seemed far too well-acquainted, as he was using my first name. He was going on about some dodgy deal on cigarettes and tobacco, which felt very much like an underhanded attempt to get hold of my credit card details. Such a classic ruse, really!
