Today I’ve had about three calls all telling me I could get 40% off my phone bill. When I told them I wasn’t interested and called them scammers, they claimed they were from O2. I asked why they were ringing from a mobile then, and they didn’t have an answer before hanging up. I tried calling back the number and spoke to a woman at her workplace - turns out her number had been spoofed! What’s mad is earlier this morning, I actually got a call showing my own number claiming to be the FBI and threatening to arrest me for unpaid tax. Absolutely wild day for dodgy phone calls!
